Every year, at the end of May, the best tennis players of the world meet up in Paris for the French Open. During two weeks, they will compete on the legendary clay courts of Roland Garros, in front of half a million spectators. Come and support your favorite players at Roland Garros and participate to the grand feast of tennis at Porte d'Auteuil !
From May 22rd till 5th June 2011, Roland Garros will be hosting the 110th edition of the French Tennis Open in Paris. While in the women's draw, the Williams sisters will have a hard time facing numerous Russian players or other such as Hénin and Clijsters, men like Federer, Nadal, Djokovic or even Murray will no doubt fight for the title with the ambition to brandish the Musketeers cup.
Situated west of Paris, very close to Porte d'Auteuil, the Roland Garros stadium is composed of twenty clay courts with three major ones starting with the Center Court, Suzanne Lenglen court and the court n°1. But Roland Garros is also (and mainly) numerous outside courts on which are organized a lot of the games during the first days and on which players can train during the tournament. In fact, if you wish to see players from close up, the first week is the best time to come to "Roland".
But Roland Garros is also a museum for tennis, restaurants, many animations (autographs with players, mini-tennis, serve speed calculator, etc) and a party atmosphere really fun for all lovers of the little yellow ball.
