Alberto Giacometti is without doubt one of the major sculptors of the 20th century. Very early on, his work shows a definitely strong interest for the primitive figure ; his discovery of Etruscan art from the Italian region of Tuscany is surely a decidedly moving factor, and an influence to his creations thereafter. The exhibit presents 150 exceptional Etruscan objects and about thirty major sculptures by this Swiss artist.
