As its name indicates, the apartment is situated two steps away from the rue Montorgueil, which is a charming pedestrian street famous for its numerous shops (bakeries, fruit and vegetable stands, cheese shops, butchers, fish mongers, etc), and its typical french restaurants. For your stay in Paris to be the most comfortable, the apartment has been entirely redone in Spring of 2011.

CAUTION : On this map, the apartment is represented by this logo
Situated at the angle of the rue Montorgueil, so appreciated by Parisians for its numerous merchants, (bakery, fruit and vegetable stands, cheese shops, butchers, fish mongers, wine merchants, etc) and its restaurants, the apartment is ideally situated if you wish to (re)discover French gastronomy during your visit to Paris. Gourmet pleasures are guaranteed ! Thanks to its central location and numerous metro stations nearby, you can get the most out of your stay without losing time in public transport ; it’s an important choice criterion if you only dispose of a few days to visit the city.
Before offering this apartment for rent, we have completely redone it in the Spring of 2011. Its overhead beams, hard wood floors, or then again its brand new kitchen give it a typically Parisian charm. By the same token, all of its furnishings including the bedding, have been replaced for your greatest comfort. As always, we have taken great care in optimizing space and organizing the apartment specifically for seasonal rental. Thus, we’ve put at your disposal large cupboards for putting your clothing and suitcases away, as well as a washing machine that you’ll certainly find useful if you’re travelling through Europe for several weeks. Of course, you have wireless access to Internet (Wi-Fi), cable television (flat screen), a DVD reader and phone calls are unlimited to over 90 destinations. Difficult to dream for more, don’t you think ?

The Montorgueil apartment on Rue d’Aboukir was simply perfect ! The location was unbeatable – less than a half a block away from the metro (Sentier) and half a block away from the amazing Rue Montorgueil ! We couldn’t get enough pastries from Éric Kayser Bakery. We picked up all the groceries (and wine) we needed from all of the markets and shops on that lively street. The apartment is truly centrally located and within walking distance of everything we wanted to see ! If we didn’t feel like walking, we just hopped on the metro. The location was very safe, we (my mom and I) walked at all hours of the day and night, always feeling safe.
The apartment itself is adorable and very, very comfortable. I think it looks even better in person than in the photos posted online. The apartment had everything we could possibly need and more. The bed and shower were both perfect and everything was so clean and neat. There’s free wi-fi and a great TV with hundreds of channels (for while you’re resting from the long and fun days in Paris!). The prices were unbeatable – I couldn’t find anything with a comparable price for the quality of the apartment. I just loved staying there.
Giovanni met us right on time and was extremely friendly and made us feel most welcome. Aurelien is excellent at following up. I just loved renting an apartment from these gentlemen, and when I return to Paris, I won’t even consider staying anywhere else !

I've stayed during whole 2nd week of October. This trip is my third trip in Paris. Montorgueil is very good location where is easy to access tourist hot spot in half of hours as well as comfortable feeling in noisy from Montorgueil Street.
Room has all new equipments. washing machine will help your trip in clean. Heater works well.
Only one thing : 2nd floor would be tired because small space to bring up big&heavy luggages.
Next time, I detinately revisit the Paris Flat Rent with their kind consideration and faith.
Thanks Aurelien and Giovanni to care of me in warm-hearts.

We had a great time & the apartment was perfect for our stay in Paris. We will definitely do this again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this studio in September 2011. It is a studio, not an apartment, but the size of the place is reflected in the very reasonable cost to rent and it is impeccable and the location is amazing. My daughter and I used the money we would have spent at a hotel exploring Paris, visiting museums, shopping, and enjoying the many wonderful food offerings this city has to offer. The owners/hosts are very punctual and serviceable. Overall, a very pleasing experience. Would rent from this team again.
A selection of useful addresses close to the flat : Supermarket, bakery, car park or laundrette. With the interactive Google Map you will find all my good addresses in Paris.

Since 1996 and the opening of its first bakery, the Eric Kayser bakeries have become known little by little as the best in all of Paris. You’ll never be disappointed by their artisanal leavened bread and you’ll have a hard time resisting the many pastries proposed under the glass case. Whether you’re in the mood for salty or sweet, you’ll find happiness here…

Open from Monday through Saturday, from 8am until 10pm and on Sunday morning from 9:30am, this supermarket has just about everything you could possibly need during your stay. On the food side, you’ll find really fresh fruits and vegetables, meat and fish and frozen things also, plus all sorts of beverages with or without alcohol. To sum it up, it’s a useful address for filling up on groceries even if, and I highly recommend it, you’d like to go to the numerous shops on the rue Montorgueil.

Situated at 51 rue Montorgueil, the Stohrer Bakery is impossible to circumvent in this area ; it was here that Nicolas Stohrer invented the Baba au Rhum in 1730 for the Princess of Poland become Queen of France : Marie Leszczyńska.
