Mona Lisa apartment

Flat description

Completely refurbished, this apartment of 45m2 is located on the 1st floor (above the ground floor) of typical Parisian building of which its access is secured by a code. Decorated with elegance and simplicity, this apartment is larger by far than many hotel rooms that you can find in Paris.

The apartment has a dining area with table and a fully equipped kitchen. You will find all the necessary tools to prepare your meals with all the good products that you will probably have found in the different stores around or at the Saint-Honoré market (read below), famous for its food trade.

The bathroom is functional and well taken care of. It comes with a shower, a washbasin and a toilette... The bathroom is separated from the rest of the apartment by a door. So be reassured if you do not like to be disturbed when going to the toilette.

The apartment also has a washing machine. It will surely prove useful if you're traveling for several weeks.

The bedding is comparable to those you can find in good hotels. The bed is very comfortable with a thick mattress, it will guarantee an excellent rest. Furthermore, the sofa can convert into a sofa-bed for 2 additional persons.

About the area

The apartment is located in the town centre of Paris (1st district) and close to many metro stations. It only takes 2 minutes to get to the metro station "Louvre - Rivoli", 5 minutes to the train station "Châtelet - Les Halles". It is also very easy to get to the apartment by train / metro from the airport (CDG and Orly) and the main Parisian train stations.

The apartment is located in the district of the Palais-Royal which shelters the Louvre museum. This is one of the most prestigious district of Paris. If the reputation of the most visited museum of the world is not to do, the Palais-Royal is just as exceptional. This treasure of architecture is composed of galleries, a magnificent garden and a palace where the French Comedy resides which is also know as "La Maison de Molière" (Molière's house).

The neighborhood has also become the temple of elegance and refinement. You will find numerous fashion and decoration stores just like under the sumptuous covered ways that are the galleries Véro-Dodat or Vivienne. But also crafted delicatessen, wine bars, cafés and typical French brasseries that make this district one of the nicest to live in.

One can even be surprised at how this district managed to maintain such a peaceful and user-friendly atmosphere in the heart of hectic capital.

Lastly, if you like good products, do not miss the Saint-Honoré market which is held every Wednesdays (12:30pm to 8:30pm) and Saturdays (7am to 3pm). They have excellent products !

“Perfect in every way !”

My husband and I stayed in the Mona Lisa apt for one week. I can not say enough wonderful things about it. Making the reservations was easy from the U.S. through paypal. Giovanni met us at the apartment when it was time to check in and took time to get us oriented to the building security locks and the apartment itself. He helped carry my luggage up the one flight of stairs to the first floor. The location is wonderful.

The apartment actually seems bigger and is really nicer than is reflected on their website pictures. The bed was very comfortable. It was also quiet and the shades kept it dark in the morning if you wanted to sleep late. We used the clothes washer which was also a very nice convenience. The high spin cycle makes them almost dry when it is completed and there is a drying rack provided. There is plenty of space for clothes and the bathroom area and shower were excellent.

We came to Paris with friends who stayed in a nearby hotel and paid twice what we did for one (very!) smaller room. I could live in this apartment long term and be perfectly happy. Everything you need is here. We did not cook, as we prefer to experience the many restaurants but there is a market nearby and the kitchen at the apartment has everything you need. There are many restaurants and wine bars all around. I definitely would stay here again. NO NEED TO LOOK ELSEWHERE!

Thank you, Aurelien and Giovanni!

“very close to the Louvre”

Great location, very close to the Louvre and Royal Palace ! 5 minutes walk to the metro station and walking distance from the Opera ! The apartment was clean and complete, enough space for four people (2 adults+2children). Reservation, payment and arrangements were very easy !
