Flat and neighborhood description
Situated in the heart of the Louvre - Palais Royal's area, in the 1st district of Paris, the Louvre studio is an ideal location for a touristic or professional stay. Only 500 meters away from the museum's entrance and its famous glass pyramid, this flat will allow you to walk your way around Paris or use public transports with close underground entrances and bus station (Louvre Rivoli 300 meter away).
The arrangement of the flat is as exceptional as its location. Completely renovated in 2007 by an interior designer, this vast studio is a high standard accommodation, with a bathroom worthy of a grand hotel, fine parquet and quality furniture. At night, you will appreciate the calm of it - windows facing a private yard - along with excellent bedding (mattress 20cm thick !).
You can make yourself at home, the flat is entirely equipped like a house on holiday. You will of course find a fully equipped kitchen (for preparation, cooking of meals), wireless Internet access, free phone calls towards 96 destinations, cable television along with a hairdryer, ironing board and iron.

I booked this apartment from Dec 14-28, 2011 and it was an amazing location ! So close I could walk to the Eiffel Tower ! A very beautiful street, everything you need is close, and the apartment is very comfortable and stocked with all the necessities !

We stayed at the Louvre apartment over the summer. It was in a wonderful location and within walking distance of just about everything in Paris. Giovanni was very helpful in booking our stay and checking us in. The apartment was very clean and secure. “Awesome location for a good price !” by Elizabeth
It was a pleasure dealing with Giovanni and Aurelien. We were given plenty of information prior to arrival and check-in/check-out was a breeze. The apartment was spacious and stocked with the basic necessities. A bonus was the wi-fi and long distance calling. Location was central and within walking distance of many attractions!
Sidenotes : With the windows opened, it got a little noisy at night from people on the street. Pillows were thin (my husband loved it but I like a much fluffier pillow) so it would have been nice to have a couple extra ones in the closet. Would also suggest having an extra toilet roll, tissues, and hand soap for the bathroom.
All in all, a fantastic stay. We have already recommended to family and friends and will be sure to book through ParisFlatRent for our next visit !

Open everyday except on Sundays until 8pm, this supermarket proposes general groceries (fruits and vegetable, butchers, bread, etc), drinks and housekeeping products. Note that house delivery is free after 70 euros worth of purchase. Very useful after a long trip, the amount of bottles (sodas, milk, etc) is however limited for house delivery.

Very famous, you will find a wide range of bread, baguttes and numerous cakes that are absolutely delicious !
